Even though several manufacturers skipped this year’s Auto Expo, the show was a success because of the presentation of new upcoming products and technologies. Apart from a few launches, several companies showcased products that will be launched in the Indian market in the coming months and years.
We have compiled a list of the top 3 cars presented at Auto Expo 2023 that will be launched in the country in the coming months.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx will be a coupé SUV with a tapered roofline. It will look sportier in line with the coupe design. In spy photos, the front looks like a Grand Vitara. The Fronx is expected to be fitted with a 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine capable of producing 100hp and 150Nm of torque. Transmission options can include manual and automatic transmissions. Other mechanical parts can be shared with the Baleno. it could thus share its functions and interior with the Baleno. So we can expect an infotainment system with a moving head-up display, 360-degree cameras and more. The Fronx could be launched in April this year with the price starting around 7 lakh rupees.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Maruti Suzuki Jimny is one of the most popular cars in the country. It seemed everyone was waiting for Jimny. Maruti finally presented Jimny at the Auto Expo. The Jimny 5-door is 3,985 mm long, 1,645 mm wide and 1,720 mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2590 mm and a ground clearance of 210 mm. Overall the car looks edgy with no scratches or wrinkles. At the front, the headlights are round and the hood is flat. The side profile shows the longer wheelbase and length of the Jimny, Maruti has equipped it with elegant alloy wheels.

The proven version 1 was chosen for the five-door Jimny. K15B 5 litre engine. We thought Maruti would give it a bigger engine, but it didn’t. This K15B engine produces 101 hp and 130 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a one-speed automatic. The Jimny also features Allgrip Pro with a low-end drive. Maruti only introduced the five-door Jimny in India. Maruti plans to introduce the SUV ahead of the festive season for maximum traction. As for pricing, we expect a starting price below Rs 10 lakh (showroom).

Tata Altroz i-CNG

The Tata Altroz ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​is a key product for Tata Motors in the country. It redefined the premium utility segment with its features and security. However, options for the mileage-conscious buyer were lacking due to a lack of CNG options. Today, Tata solved that piece of the puzzle by unveiling the Altroz ​​CNG at Auto Expo. The Tata Altroz ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​iCNG is equipped with a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. In the petrol version, this engine can develop 84 hp and 113 Nm of torque. Unlike other cars, the Tata does not lose power in CNG mode. The CNG only comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. Tata did not announce the price of the Altroz ​​​​​​​​​​i-CNG but plans to release it soon.
