The Grammy Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the music industry, and it celebrates the best in music from the previous year.
Beyoncé came into the awards ceremony as the top contender in the album, song, and record of the year categories. She ended up winning three awards, tying the late Georg Solti for the most awards in Grammy history. Solti, a Hungarian-British conductor, also had 31 Grammys, and he held the record since 1997.
