Dhoni Meets Indian Team Ahead of T20 Series Against NZ

Dhoni

Hello People, MS Dhoni has always been the centre of attraction. And because he is not very active on social media like other players, people eagerly wait for a glimpse of him. Recently MS Dhoni has been seen meeting the Indian team

MS Dhoni met the Indian cricket team players ahead of the first T20 match of the three-match series against New Zealand. On Thursday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India posted a video on social media featuring Dhoni interacting with players such as Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav. Notably, the first India-New Zealand T20I on Friday will be held in Ranchi, which is also MS Dhoni’s hometown.

India will take on New Zealand in the three-match T20I series starting in Ranchi from Friday. The team will play a three-match series before the Test series against Australia. The Indian team did not train on Thursday. After the training session, former captain MS Dhoni met the players in the Indian team’s dressing room. The BCCI has shared it in a video on social media. In the video, MS Dhoni can be seen talking with Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan.

Busy Schedule of Team

There are less than two weeks left for the Gavaskar Border Trophy matches against Australia, crucial for India to reach the final of the World Test Championship. Moreover, India has a busy schedule ahead of the ODI World Cup. In this situation, the T20 series may seem pointless. The senior players have been rested for the T20Is. Hardik Pandya is the captain of the T20I team.

Recall that Hardik Pandya’s lead team won the T20 series 2-1 against Sri Lanka earlier this month. Not much has changed in the team against New Zealand. Along with the regular players, new players have also been included in the team. The first match will be played on Friday from 19:30.
